wonder how much small things make a big difference in our life!
small lessons that we learn along the path every day.... well i do... some instances that are difficult to forget... here are some from the memory lane!
1. the other day we were having a problem with the water motar and i was a little tensed... a day without water means late to work, tension and loads of other things and i happened to speak with this 14 year old kid next door who very coolly said you can get the guy across the street to fix it!
lesson learnt- we as adults hold petty things close to our heart and sometimes miss that small things make a difference!
2. i was chatting with my sister the other day and was telling her how difficult it was for people to handle their lives especially with the continuous rain... she looked at me thoughtfully and said "kirthi, human being can anyways survive... but this rain is needed for so many other living creatures!"
lesson learnt- may be i'm missing some details in life!
3. i saw this mad man across the street, dirty clothes and sitting on the road nothing seem to bother him... who knows if he will ever get his next meal, water to drink... and person to love! someone who tells him that they care for him!
lesson learnt- i'm thankful for this beautiful life!
